Getting an Edge with Creative Business Cards

The plain black and white business cards are now a thing of the past. They have evolved into more creative designer versions. Unique business cards are made of wood, plastic, metal, magnets, or handmade papers. They are coming in a variety of shapes and unique designs. They are printed in many colors and others have their design imprinted into the card. Either way, they each have a significant and lasting impression to the recipient.

Remember, you get what you pay for. So while you are still printing in plain black and white, going the cheapest route you will not get as much of a return as you would by using the most sophisticated and expensive business cards. With that being said decide what your needs and wants are in accordance with your budget. If you are just starting out, use a colored design. As you business gets more profit you are able to experiment with the more advanced business cards.

Most business card printing services will have a design team in house to help you with any designing. Some even have an online download to eliminate having to go to a printing house for drop off and mail your business card rather than pick up.

Printers today are fully aware of the competition and are eager to help you create the best possible business card because all in all they make you look good and you make them look good.

To ensure that your printer has the highest quality of images to work with scan logos or other images in .eps or .bmp format. Specify how many cards you need, what kind of paper, black and white or color, whether it should be coated, always ask for a proof, you need a proof to approve a rough draft befor they print, and when and where you need the cards delivered.
