If you have elderly relatives or friends who struggle to pay their utility bills during the colder months, finding them a cheap gas supplier will be one of the best things you could do for them.

Ask your older friends if they’d like to lower their monthly gas bills and, if they would, take a note of their postcode and how much they’re currently paying. You’ll also need to know how they prefer to pay. Then, when you’re online, go to a price comparison website on their behalf to look for the deals that are best for them.

Once you’ve put in the information mentioned above, very quickly you’ll be given a list of all the options. Take down those that seem good value and then share this information with your favourite OAPs.

Just imagine - if you manage to cut your auntie’s gas bill by finding her a cheap gas deal, she’ll not only be delighted with you for cutting her costs - she’ll also be able to keep warm this winter.
