The Property Index site has a vast range of property for sale in Italy, view the range online.

Although the Property Index service may be considered a pretty young firm, they were registered only in March 2007, they have gained in reputation very quickly. As a matter of fact, they are a pretty hip firm focusing on offering their expert opinion to everyone aiming to buy assets across the world. Their guarantee is to aid you hit upon bang-on what you want fast plus, obviously, sans pain. Estate is in most parts of the world at present, possibly the most exclusive area being properties on the market in Italy. It’s straightforward to list some of the ripping real estate available in Italy, one reason for selecting property here being property on the market and the superb opportunity to live surrounded by such a bubbly and sprightly population.

This is one of the most sought after regions at present, and with the lovely landscape and wonderful sunshine surrounding you night and day, who could be wrong. Estate in Italy is steeped in history, this country is home to quite a number of nations. About one generation ago you’d find merely a tiny number of English people who are looking for real estate in Italy. Just ask any one single person who has relocated to Italy and they’ll tell you the same. Quite a few people would are wont to call it a trend and others are wont to call it a more or less a fixation… Shoppers who will repair over here will range from young yuppie couples keen on a challenge in life to the elderly meaning to put their feet up and enjoy themselves.

Note that you may likely encounter a few perplexities when looking to buy real estate overseas — as can be expected, there are hundreds of disparate, not always very logical, steps whether working out a plan, paying a visit or signing the documents. Even if just a single minor action is missed it may easily initiate overwhelming perplexities and, even more important, a financial hammering. Naturally, as is to be presumed with this favored area, real estate could be extraordinarily expensive in this place and this, of course, is merely a result of the broad buyer demand. Notwithstanding real estate buyers are spoilt for choice in a region so full of good geography. It actually has all a patron could ever itch for etc.

Slot machines are one of the most popular games to play at casinos. On any given night, expect most of the machines to be filled with eager players. They come in a variety of playing levels; some only cost five cents a play and others can cost as much as twenty dollars a play. Although slot machines are a gambling tool, many people are intimidated by the high-dollar card tables and prefer the fun and excitement of a good slot machine game.

The first mechanical slot machine was built in 1895 and was dubbed the “Liberty Bell.” Invented by a California auto mechanic, the first slot machines had three spinning reels with diamonds, hearts, spades and a cracked Liberty Bell painted on each. Prior to this invention, the term “slot machines” was used to describe various kinds of vending machines. It was not long until this inventor realized that the momentum of the popularity gain of these machines was too much for him to handle on his own. He eventually teamed up with another manufacturer that would supply these new slot machines to casinos around the world.

The first real widespread use of slot machines in American casinos is attributed to the Flamingo Hotel, Las Vegas somewhere around 1940. The owner of the casino had originally thought the machines would be great to entertain bored wives of some of the biggest high roller customers of the casino. Little did he know that slot machines would be a fun activity for nearly everyone and that the appeal would extend further than the bored wives. Today, it is said, slot machines comprise over two-thirds of all revenue generated by U.S. casinos.

Slot machines certainly have a rich history. From the small and somewhat inadequate invention of the mid-1800’s to the multi-million dollar industry of today, slot machines will continue to grow in popularity. For some, they seem like a little risk to take with higher chances of winning, as compared to other types of gambling like Blackjack or Roulette.

Whether it be breakfast cereal or fast food chains or even alcoholic beverages, the
food product and services industry must recognize brand in order to succeed in a
rapidly migrant market space. As we already know, consumers are not looking for
product benefits nearly as much as they are recognizing the person the product
represents. This reflection and representation is what creates brand (regardless of
what most average advertising agencies might tell you). With regard to the food
industry, “You are what you eat” has more meaning than it initially presents.
Consumers want to know how what they eat reflects who they are. So how has the
food industry changed with the fad dieting, new nutrition, weight-conscious times?
It all comes down to a matter of taste.

Food trends have definitely not always been about brand. In Luke Sulllivan’s Hey
Whipple, Squeeze This, he shows a series of pictures he created for the trend in
breakfast cereals when he was growing up. The first box shows a simple designed
box of “Flax Flakes,” the next box shows “Sweetened Flax Flakes,” and the presence
of sugar in cereals increases with every box until the last box reads, “SUGAR (no flax
flakes inside).” Ironically, you would be hard pressed today to see a cereal box in the
grocery store that did not scream Whole Grain or High Fiber. High-protein, low-
sugar, organic, non-processed, and low salt have taken over.

Food propositions used to be entirely about taste regardless of the pounds of
butter, amount of sugar and preservatives and milligrams of cholesterol. If it tasted
good, people needed it. Eventually the effects were tangible, and the times have
most definitely changed. Taste has taken a back seat to nutrition as our nation gets
increasingly obese, and let’s face it, being unhealthy is a lot less important than not
being fat (but that is a whole other issue in itself). Food trends can almost be
defined by the decade. Not to say that now all people want to eat nutritious food,
but most people want to appear healthy and as though they are in control of their
bodies and eating habits.

What has been the solution for food brands? How have they adapted to this
consumer mentality of control and self-consciousness? Why do we still buy Cheerios
rather than Grocery Store X’s Toasty O’s that cost a dollar less? The ingredients are
the same, and the box is the same size. We buy Cheerios because Cheerios care
about us, or at least we believe they do, and that is what matters. Smirnoff cares
about us because they tell us to “Drink Responsibly.” McDonalds cares about us
because they let us have salads and yogurt while our kids have McFlurries and
cheeseburgers. It was not long ago when no one ever thought they would live to see
the day when fast food chains actually offered low-fat options. Now, hardly any food
establishment can survive without a wider spectrum of options for Bill on low-carb,
Sue on low-fat, Jan on Weight Watchers, and Ted on Atkins.

The real value is not in the actual food offered, which represents “product,” it is in
the fact that the offer is available and encouraging, which represents “brand.”
Consumers want to be acknowledged and always want to feel as though they have
made the right choice. The choice to take on an active, nutritious lifestyle is
something every person needs to consider; that is basic biological knowledge. What
is not basic knowledge is that people who do choose to take on this challenge need
a lot more help than they admit. The food industry must be able to absorb this
trend and must be able to provide a solution to the problem rather than fuel to the
fire. As for the rest of the population who do not make this choice to live better,
they still like to think that they could if they tried.

In order to differentiate in the food business, the brand must be able to directly
show how it can potentially help the consumer achieve his/her goals. The brand
must be able to show the consumer that his/her goals really matter to them. This
connection and relationship is what initiates trial and then encourages continued
use. This message of partnership for a healthier lifestyle does not fall on deaf ears.
Regardless of how out of shape and overweight Americans prove to be, the desire to
reach an ideal, better image is forever behind the purchase decision.

With the increase in the trading relations between countries, shipping cases are also becoming a vital part in the shipment of products safely from one place to another, whether it is domestic or international shipping. Many shipping case companies are customizing their products to various sizes according to consumers’ requirements. Shipping cases are designed intelligently, so as to protect the commodities from all sorts of damages, collisions, extreme temperatures, shocks, etc.

Flight cases are commonly used for air or flight transport. The exterior surface of a flight case is usually made from aluminum or plastic. The plastic cases are much lighter and offer easy mobility, when compared to the aluminum cases.

Usually, plastic cases can carry any type of material safely. The durability of plastic cases depends on the type of materiel used in the manufacturing process. Plastic cases are also customizable as per the requirements of a customer. Manufacturers come with varied shapes to attract the customers to their products.

Plastic shipping cases are not only used for shipments, but are also used for storage, preservation, and sanitation. The plastic cases are ideal for carrying electrical, clinical, and scientific equipments. Some plastic shipping containers come with take-off lids and recessed corner wheels, and some are made of high-density polyethylene. These cases are especially suited to transport computers, electronic devices, video equipment, and other sensitive equipment. Some of the freight plastic cases are designed to eradicate the need for wood pallets and skids.

Thus, plastic cases ship the contents safely and securely without much of a fuss, as they are much lighter and easily movable when compared to the aluminum and iron shipping cases.

It seems like this week a ton of people have been asking me how they can
become more creative. I even had one client jokingly accuse me of being in
cahoots with the Devil in trade for my creativity. “Where do you get all of your
ideas?” he asked. Well, I have decided to share my secret with you in this issue.

In the following paragraphs you will learn my creativity secret weapon. I use it
all the time. It will work for you just as it works for me. It has served me well
and it is this technique that got me into the buyers meeting of a major drug
store when I was just 15 years old. Yup! You read that right. At age 15 my
creativity strategy got me an appointment with a major drug store buyer where
I sold my “Idea’s” to them. I didn’t even have a clue what I was doing and I
walked right past the suit and tie businessmen right into the office of the guy
they were trying to get an appointment with. This happened simply because I
was more creative. I know you will have fun with this weeks issue. Enjoy!

It’s not rocket science! :
Creativity doesn’t have to be rocket science. We all have fountains of creative
energy flowing within us. Our problem is that the world teaches us, in the
interest of our own security, to use our heads far too much. In the process, we
shift from the habit of spontaneous imaginary expression to intense self-
censorship in service to our security conscious ego-minds. We become so
concerned with the image we project that we lose touch with our inner “wizard
behind the curtain.”

I’ve learned that when I feel stuck, confused, and frustrated, and my intellect
can’t seem to find its way out of the cage, that it’s this same mind that created
the prison in the first place. Fortunately I’ve found a very simple way out. I’ve
taken up the mantra during times such as these to simply “Just Make Stuff Up.”

Experts became experts by studying other experts:
Now our culture typically doesn’t give a lot of credence to stuff that’s just made
up. Particularly if it’s yours and you’re a nobody (a non-expert with
questionable credentials). But I think you’ll find that in most cases, the experts
became experts by studying other experts. And if you follow the line of experts
to the very heart of their lineage, you’ll most likely find that the originator of
their expertise actually “just made stuff up” that hadn’t been seen before and
that happened to work, at least for the time being.

So the next time you or your group is stuck in a problem-solving or creative
venture, please, encourage them to try “just making stuff up,” and see what
comes forward. There’s something about this approach that frees us of our
need to be right and invites our inner creative children out to play. Try it. You
may be pleasantly surprised!

Example:
I’ve been personally challenged with just about all of my major projects for the
past few weeks. I’ve felt a change of course was not only needed, but the path I
was taking with these projects seemed to be reaching an impasse. Now I’m a
pretty creative guy, but I felt really stumped, to the point of giving up on some
of them. But being open-minded and self-reflective, I realized that the
frustration and confusion I was feeling was energy that I could use to evolve
these projects to the next level. This process could be effortless if I simply
surrendered to the timing of the project in lieu of my ego-mind.

I discovered that I could view these projects as living beings with intelligence
and a natural impulse to unfold in a way they are “intended.” Like seeds that
know fully what they are to become if nurtured properly and patiently. I made
all of that up and you can do the same thing. Make stuff up that makes your
life easier, more free, happier, etc.

We make up everything:
So I began to actually listen to what each project had to tell me. I also started
“just making stuff up” around each project. I found that the openness and
freedom brought by the attitude of “just making stuff up” combined with the
act of doing something, got me moving again into creative new arenas, with a
sense of childlike lightness, fun, and adventure.

My Coach Steve Davis was discussing this with his partner Anna Dargitz. She
decided to consult the wisdom of her seven year old daughter on this subject.
When asked what she thought about the nature of “making stuff up,” she
replied with something like this. “Well, I make stuff up when I want something
real.” It took me awhile to decipher this sage advice. But then it hit me that we
make up everything, including what we call real, and that admitting that we
make it up, is the closest thing to real we can get…she’s now our new guru.

How to practice this…
This week, try just making stuff up or if you find your group, friends, clients, or
colleagues stuck or confused, give them permission to try just making stuff up
to see what happens. I’d love to hear you’re perspectives and experiences on
this. Please email them to me.

Many individuals believe that they have to “live up” to another
family member or idol. Some are even envious of famous icons and
want to look, act, think and be like the stars of the big
screen. People become so obcessed that, in their quest of
“perfection,” they lose sight of who they are themselves. One of
the most peculiar idiologies of people is that they honestly
believe that they can literally “transform” themselves into
other persons.

In the eternal journey of life, human beings are almost comical
in a bizarre kind of way. Television ads tell us that we “need”
certain products and services to “make” us feel better, look
better and think better. Other sociological commercialization is
exhibited by actors and actresses — as they all seemingly have
an incredible physical appearance, coupled with extreme
self-confidence. But here’s the bottom line: not all people are
perfect. Not all actors and actresses have super bodies. Not all
individuals have perfect complexions, and gorgeous hair. So what
do we do? We improvise — and then we compromise.

We improvise with products, services, clothing, makeup, and the
like. We compromise ourselves, though, because we are no longer
“true” to our natural form. Persons who feel they “must”
actively change themselves to appear like others, is moreover a
matter of self-esteem — or lack thereof.

The most proficient and successful goal of life is to “Aspire to
be YOU.” Take a long look at yourself in the mirror. Ask
yourself the following questions:

What do YOU want to
do?

How do YOU wish others to see you?

What
defines me?

Am I confident?

Am I happy?

What can I do to be happier?

What are my
goals?

What are my dreams and aspirations?

Do
I ‘need’ to transform myself? And most importantly,

Do I know where I’m going in life?

There are no paradoxes in aspiring to be you. When you
aspire to be you, one doesn’t need to comparison shop for
personalities. One merely has to look within to find his/her
unique meaning in life and how s/he emits himself or herself in
the community. When you aspire to be you, you don’t have to be
superman or woman. You only have to be you — in mind, body and
spirit. Nature’s gift to mankind, is not how you define yourself
by becoming someone else — rather, how you present yourself to
you. Aspire to be yourself, and the rest of life’s voyage
will be smooth sailing.

Gaming laptops used to only be obtainable from certain resellers. The sales were never very good but they did bring in great mark up’s on each system than others. I reckon that the majority of people would concur they always desired a gaming notebook but it was just out of reach for the majority. They were like the highest grade of what was capable with notebook technology. The best laptop computers on offer. Despite the buzz caused I do not believe they were good sellers because I don’t believe buyers would buy laptop computers as an alternative to desktops as they were so expensive. The future for gaming portables is now seen by the large brands as a prime opportunity for themselves.

These are unquestionably high margin notebook computers for the big manufacturers and they are aware of it. Currently the markup on most notebook computers are so marginal that this constitutes as a great opportunity to roll back the gross margins. I’m pretty confident that consumers would buy laptop computers if mass marketed by these global manufacturers. I bet smaller retailers are very distressed about this. Now laptops for gaming will no longer be seen as a niche sector. Purchasers will additionally gather a lot more peace of mind when parting with a larger amount of cash.

I reckon they surely are manufacturing some of the best laptop computers out today. I believe that littler resellers may yet have an opportunity. Majority of the time the pre made notebooks are good performers but not fast enough and a couple of buyers don’t take well to that. People of this sort are generally really in the know in regards to the technology at hand, and hence are able to carry out spec for spec evaluations. For customers of this kind, how well it performs typically is of greater significance than how it looks. Plainly what’s taking place here could benefit consumers in the long haul. Improved technology will be increasingly acquirable in the future for the majority of buyers because it will act to force prices down further. Do not quote me on that though because anything can happen in the notebook market. Whether notebook computer prices will decline on the whole is another topic but the best laptop computers are typically over priced. It’s tough to tell what will occur now that the large manufacturers have become involved in manufacturing gaming laptops.

Let me ask you this question, “Are you motivated to achieve
great accomplishments in your life?” The following are ten
action steps you can apply today to achieve more success in
in your life:

1. Positive Affirmations

Our subconscious mind is a wonderful tool for success or
failure. It will do what we tell it to do. It all depends on what thoughts we feed it. So why not feed your inner mind with
only positive thoughts. The following are some examples of
positive affirmations you can feed your inner mind for
success:

* “Today, I will win because I have faith, courage and enthusiasm.”

* “I see failure only as a signpost on my road to success.”

* “When I feel stress, I will relax and release my stress before I take on my next task.”

* “I always write down my priorities, thinking of my
responsibilities. I may not get everything done, but I will do the most productive thing possible at every given moment.”

* “I am a winner, I work for a winning organization, and because of my contribution and cooperation we will keep on winning.”

* “Today, I will see opportunity in every challenge offered to me.”

2. Positive Language

Recent research has come out that 75% of daily conversation
is negative. Whether it is the words we use or the body
language, we need to communicate in a positive manner all
the time.

The following are some examples of how you can turn
negative words into positive communication:

* Instead of saying “problem,” call it “opportunity.”

* Instead of an action being a “failure,” describe it as a
“learning experience.”

* Instead of “I have to,” say “I choose to.” This gives control for your actions back to you.

* Instead of saying, “There’s nothing I can do,” say, “Let’s look at our alternatives.”

* Instead of saying, “That’s just the way I am,” say, “I choose a different approach.”

* Instead of saying, “He makes me so mad,” say, “I control my own feelings.”

If you notice, by using the positive response, you have control over your actions and life.

3. Exercise

A Gallup survey found the following among men and women
who have taken up exercise recently:

* 66 percent report a more relaxed life

* 62 percent a new surge of energy

* 55 percent less stress

* 51 percent better looks

* 46 percent more confidence

* 45 percent better love life

* 44 percent greater job satisfaction

* 37 percent more creative on their jobs

These are great motivators to exercise! Next time you feel
demotivated, give your body a workout. Recent research
reports that as little as fifteen minutes three times a week has
profound effects. Get moving. Get motivated.

4. Take Risks

We all live our lives in comforts zones, avoiding risky
situations, avoiding the potential to fail. It’s real safe for us.
But in order to get ahead of your competition and master the
ongoing change in your life, you must go out of your
comfort zone. Start one step at a time. Try that little new
thing, that different approach. It could be as simple as taking
different routes to and from work. Once in a while I like to
“take the road less traveled” to stir up my creative juices.
Then, keep stepping out of your zone. It may seem
uncomfortable at first. But the more you do it, the more it will
seem natural and you will see an increase in your creative
juices and opportunities you never thought about before.

5. Positive Reading

Read about the lives of successful people. Make sure you
read only those people that embrace the timeless values that
make them truly successful through the ages. Not the
“success today, scandal tomorrow” success stories that we
are experiencing today. People like Herb Kelleher of
Southwest Airlines, Fred Smith of Federal Express, Mary Kay
Ash of Mary Kay, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln,
Mahatma Gandhi, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. are good
examples. These are people who overcame enormous
challenges, created real value for others, or changed other
people’s lives for the better.

6. Positive Visualizations

Condition yourself to paint your vision for success. One of
the best ways to do this is the following:

* Go to a quiet place in your home or elsewhere. Turn off all radios, televisions, etc.

* Find a comfortable chair and get into a relaxed state of mind.

* Start thinking about one goal you want to accomplish. Remember, visualize as if you are already accomplishing this goal.

* Visualize taking all the necessary steps to successfully
complete these goals. The better your visualization, where you can actually see, feel, hear, and touch your vision, the more real it is to you.

* Visualize any challenges to your successful completion of this goal and how you will eliminate this challenges.

* Visualize how good it feels to complete this goal. Visualize what benefits it will bring to you, your family, friends, co-workers, etc. Enjoy the moment!

Important: If you don’t take time to see it, it won’t happen!

7. Think Big

See the big picture in everything we do. So much of our time
is wasted dealing with the unimportant things in our lives
(what that person said or did, the driver who cut us off this
morning, and activities which don’t add value to our lives,
etc.) that we forget about the big picture. We were put on
this earth to make a difference. We make a difference for our
families, our communities, our organizations, and for
ourselves. All of our actions must be put into action with
this concept in mind. Think a little bigger today than
yesterday, and you’ll create a better future tomorrow.
Thinking big leads to great actions. Thinking small leads to
small results. So Think BIG!

8. Set Goals

The fastest way to fail in life is to not set clear goals. Set
goals in the financial, family, health, spiritual, and career
areas. Your goals must incorporate the SMART techniques
or else it’s just a “conversation in the park.”

* S for specific

* M for measurable

* A for attainable

* R for realistic

* T for time-based

For example, you might have a goal of achieving $2 million
for retirement in twenty years. After doing your research, a
SMART goal would be the following:

“I will acquire $2 million dollars for retirement by 2024. I will
do this by contributing $20K, or $1667 per month, to my
various retirement funds each year. Of the $20k each year,
$2k will go to my IRA, and $18K will go into my
organization’s retirement program.”

Remember the most detail you can add, the more realistic
your goal becomes.

9. Positive Appearance

Super achievers are very careful about their appearance and
their movements. They know that looking good translates
into feeling good. Billy Crystal, of Saturday Night Live and
movie fame, once played a character that was known for
saying, “It is better to look good than to feel good.” What
he was really implying was the “fake it until you make it”
concept. In other words, if we are feeling down, then think
positively and your mind will tell your body to follow suit
and act positively. Also always dress the part of an
achiever. Model the dress, actions, and behaviors of
someone who is successful and embraces the long term
values of successful people. This will also tell your mind that
I am an achiever.

Don’t let that be the deciding factor on being motivated.
You can easily distinguish those who are motivated from
those who are not motivated just by looking at their
appearance and their movements. The motivated move
forward, onward and upward with confidence.

10. Helping Others

Develop an obsession to help others. Share your special
talents without expecting a reward, payment, or
commendation. And above all else, keep your good deed a
secret.

You know what, it you apply the helping techniques to
others, it will automatically come back to you tenfold in a
number of ways. First, the enjoyment of knowing that a
special talent you had made someone else’s life better.
Second, because you didn’t seek it, word will spread about
you and your deeds. This will be translated into unexpected
riches and opportunities. Third, you will gain a new level of
confidence in knowing that you can make a difference.
Super achievers find motivation and meaning by helping
others.

Aside from the designated hitter, baseball is played identically in both leagues. There are no differences in the rules either so how can the astute bettor gain an edge over the bookies?

Let’s first get some background information about the two leagues over the past 6 seasons, including this year.

Average Total Runs Scored
American League: 9.98 runs/game
National League: 9.37 runs/game

We expected the obvious: AL games are higher scoring. Our goal, however, was to quantify “by how much”.

Once National League games start using their relievers, pinch hitters start becoming embedded within the fabric of the game everytime the #9 hitter is due up. This is comparative to the DH in the AL where you have a real hitter in the #9 slot at all times.

This shows us that the DH difference and the 0.6 runs/game delta that we see between the two leagues is almost exclusively attributed to the starting pitchers. Analysis was done on last year’s statistics of pitchers moving from the AL to the NL and vice versa. What they found was that pitchers heading to the NL saw their ERA’s drop a full point while those traveling to the AL saw their ERA rise a full point.

Since the spread is based almost entirely on the starting pitchers, the fact that we see a disparity on the impact starting pitchers have on the game in both leagues is a clear cut sign of something intriguing to come.

Before generating any systems, I fathomed what kind of an impact these things would make and I came to the conclusion that good starting pitching will be every bit more dominant in the NL where they expect to face an easy out in the #9 hitter two-three times per game. This would mean that the impact of great starting pitching in the AL will not have as much bearing on a game as we would like to believe.

Based on this theory, AL underdogs and NL favorites perform much better.

I have always told people to take the underdog in a division rivalry game. Both teams put out their best efforts in these games. Blindly betting on the underdog in a division rivalry game would yield +129 units over the past 7 years. National League underdogs in a division rivalry game, however, are only +15 units over the past 7 years, the remaining +115 units coming from AL Underdogs.

NL favorites greater than -200 with a lefty on the mound going up against a non-division rival are 93-28 +24 units while AL favorites in the same situation are 101-41 but -0.6 units.

This is why I try to focusing on finding profitable AL dogs and NL favorites.
